The law office of J. Robert Harlan & Associates is located in the historic downtown section of Columbia, Tennessee. This unique firm limits its area of practice entirely to representing the best interests of individuals and families involved in Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

Practice has been limited to consumer bankruptcy matters since 1987, with representation of residents of 7 southern middle Tennessee counties, Maury, Marshall, Giles, Lawrence, Wayne, Lewis, and Hickman. The clientele of this law firm consists primarily of individuals and small business owners.

This firm believes that by concentrating so intensely on one area of the law, they are able to provide a high quality of service that is very cost efficient.

The firm consists of two attorneys, Bob Harlan and Teri Hasenour Gordon, that have chosen to dedicate themselves to guiding their clients through the bankruptcy process; easing the clients minds with their knowledge, compassion and professionalism.

The support staff consists of assistants specifically trained to handle the needs and questions of clients throughout the entire bankruptcy process.

Appointments are scheduled as quickly as possible and the initial consultation is always completely free of any cost or obligation. It is simply designed to help point the consumer in the right direction.
